Prices
All our prices are in pounds sterling and are shown both including and excluding VAT
mobilityshopuk.com reserve the right to change prices and to correct clerical errors without prior notice.
Zero rating VAT
VAT zero rating is granted by HM Customs & Excise and therefore requires the completion of a simple declaration informing of your disability,which must be submitted at the time of purchase. Most of our customers may qualify for VAT zero rating, although some of our products are not zero rated and this will be added at the checkout. Payment
All payments must be made in full at the time of ordering. Goods will then be delivered after payment has cleared. We accept all major credit & debit cards, cheques and postal orders, please allow five working days for cheques to clear.
Security/Privacy
Your details are protected by the data protection act and will not be disclosed at any time. Our payment system is through the HSBC who use the most up to date card holder payment system, e-secure payment whereby when you place an order your card details are encrypted and sent to the HSBC server for authentication therefore card holders have the added confidence of a guarantee that their payment details will not be divulged to any third party including mobilityshopuk.com. No credit card details put into the system will be held or stored anywhere by us.
Delivery
mobilityshopuk.com will deliver all products free of charge to anywhere within the UK mainland. We aim to deliver within 5 working days for stock items, all customers will receive an e-mail to advise of delivery date, however some specialised products i.e, Some powerchairs & riser recliners can take up to 14 working days. If any item is out of stock at the time of ordering the customer will receive a telephone call and e-mail to inform them giving the option to wait, choose another product or cancel.
Returns
We accept the return of products once agreed by mobilityshopuk.com, if they have been wrongly delivered, for example not the item/product originally ordered or is not of satisfactory quality. All boxes if possible must be examined for damage at the time of delivery and any damage be noted on the delivery drivers receipt as our delivery couriers insist that damage is reported as soon as possible. Damaged goods should be reported to mobilityshopuk.com within a reasonable time and returned in secured packaging although original packaging would be helpful as some couriers may refuse to transport. In respect of all Bath Safety products, toilet seats etc where reasonable care of returned goods has not been taken and as a result they are damaged or soiled mobilityshopuk.com may claim damages from you.
Cancellation policy
If you decide you are unhappy with your purchase or change your mind after the goods have been dispatched to you we are happy for you to return the goods upon receipt within 7 days, commencing the day after receipt. Please return the item in secured packaging although original packaging would be helpful as some couriers may refuse to transport. Upon reciept and inspection you will receive a full refund within 30 days. Should there be any damage to the goods or packaging upon reciept mobilityshopuk.com have the right to charge for any replacement parts neccessary to ensure goods are 'as new' for resale. The cost of return of undamaged goods/cancelled orders is at the expense of the Purchaser.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
Special order items
Any product marked as a special order item denotes that the item is non returnable.
Guarantee & Warranty
In addition to your statutory rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods, all products sold by mobilityshopuk.com come with a minimum of 12 months parts & labour warranty against manufacturer or material faults. Warranties on scooters/powerchairs do not cover servicable items such as flat batteries, bulbs, worn or punctured tyres or an annual service in these instances a call out charge will apply.
Our customer satisfaction guarantee gives you peace of mind and ensures you that we are here to help.Should you encounter a problem with your purchase within the warranty period we will require the product to be returned to ourselves for inspection or repair. If the product then deems to be covered under the manufacturers warranty mobilityshopuk.com will reimburse the customers returns costs.
